Milí přátelé,
uprostřed rok od roku pestřejší a bohatší letní festivalové sezóny v našem českém „srdci Evropy“, dovolte i nám, uvítat vás na dalším ročníku „Prahy, klasiky..“. Co může pořadatele těšit více, než vzrůstající zájem, obliba a radost ze sdílení všeho toho nehmotného krásného, které zdá se všichni potřebujeme k životu čím dál více!
Kořeny našeho festivalu sahají do dob dnes již poněkud „historických“, do devadesátých let minulého století, kdy pár hudebních nadšenců chtělo okusit a zažít hudbu také z jiného, jaksi širšího pohledu než „pouze“ od svého profesionálního notového pultu. Chtěli jsme se s kolegy pokusit ji více sdílet a, prostřednictvím mezinárodních letních hudebních kurzů, ji více předávat i dalším, mladším hudebním generacím.
Když dnes kdokoliv vzpomeneme na ty tak prozaické začátky na mimopražských hudebních školách uprostřed té tehdejší „pravé letní nehybnosti“ , kdy „nikdo nic nevěděl“, téměř „nic nebylo“ a „nic nešlo“ (ale přesto se všude nakonec našli lidé sice třeba nechápavě kroutící hlavou, ale vstřícní, ochotní pomoci), vzbuzuje to až lehce pobavený úsměv.
Život, životy všech nejen zde v centru „starého kontinentu“, se ale za tu dobu obrovsky změnily. Pro nás hudebníky a hudební pořadatele se objevily, z nejrůznějších koutů světa se nám začaly „jako kouzlem“ ozývat a postupně přijíždět a sdílet tisíce, ano za ta léta tisíce podobně „na krásném zvuku závislých bytostí“ … 🙂 …- důkaz to, že asi opravdu má obecně nějaký smysl se zabývat i jinými věcmi než jen těmi základními „hmotnými“.
Jestliže se dnes všechny ve festivalu Praha, klasika.. spolupracující mezinárodní hudební kurzy i další partneři mají takto čile „k světu“ – viz opravdu pestrá nabídka hudby sólové, komorní i orchestrální v programovém přehledu –, je to jen díky všem jim/vám, kteří asi také bez hudby nemohou/ nemůžete být. – A, víte co je ještě hodně potěšující? Krom krásného zvuku začínají na festival přicházet i nádherné obrazy (máme letos 2 výstavy), i vážně strhující umělecký pohyb (baletní). Bylo by opravdu škoda to nezažít!
… Mimochodem, ten měnící se život začíná nějak trošku „nabírat na obrátkách“, nezdá se vám také? Zejména v posledních měsících, týdnech, dnech přicházejí z nejrůznějších stran zprávy opravdu nebývalé. Ať z kultury, veřejného života, ekonomiky, z oblasti technologií či třeba z astronomie. Pohledy a osobní postoje k tomu mohou být velmi různé, – rozhodně také jsou! 🙂 Ale ten pocit určitého „probouzení se“ ze zažitých stereotypů, uvědomování si lecčeho najednou poněkud „přežitého“, či potřeby „dělat věci jinak, nově“, to „směřování někam trošku výše“ osobně kolem sebe registruji čím dál častěji. Vlastně, tohle vše je tím hlavním motivem k letošnímu podtitulu festivalu.
A, pokud se týká v té tzv. vážné hudbě zdánlivě poněkud neobvyklého motta… – jaké jsou 2 nejdůležitější zásady úspěchu na podiu? No jistě!: umět to, a, NEPANIKAŘIT! 🙂
Ale pojďme ještě trochu obecněji – existuje pro harmonický život něco lepšího než lehký humorný nadhled a přijímání pozitivního nového s flexibilitou a optimismem? Což tak krásně a s nelimitovanou fantazií popsali tvůrci známého „galakticko-stopařovského“ tématu.. Samozřejmě, láska jako podstata a smysl existence… – ale tohle k té opravdu nepodmíněné lásce většinou přece rozhodně patří!
Takže.. kdo souhlasíte.. – pojďme život užívat, „let’s enjoy”, a pokud je to jen trošíčku možné, “let’s don’t panic”! 🙂

Dear friends,
in the middle of festival season, year by year more diversiform and richer in our Czech “heart of Europe“, let us welcome you too to another year of „Prague, classics..“. What could be better pleasure for the organizers, than increasing interest, popularity and joy from sharing of all that nonmaterial and beautiful, that we all seem to need more and more in our lives!
The roots of our festival reach to the times today already rather „historical“, when, in the 90s of the last century, a couple of musical enthusiasts wanted to taste and experience music also from another, somehow wider view than „only“ from their professional music stand. With my colleagues we wanted to try to share it more, and through international summer music classes, to pass it even further to next, younger music generations.
Nowadays, anyone of us, who remembers such prosaic beginnings on out of Prague music schools in the middle of at those times existing „true summer motionlessness“, when „nobody knew anything“, almost „there was nothing available“ and „nothing was possible“, it raises a slightly amused smile. (But in spite of these „obstacles“, in the end there always were people – perhaps uncomprehendingly shaking their heads, but forthcoming, willing to help).
Since those times, life, the lives of everyone not only here in the center of the „old continent“, but worldwide, have changed tremendously. For us musicians and music organizers suddenly „magically“ appeared, from different parts of the world, and then gradually started to come and share thousands, yes over the years thousands of similarly „on the beautiful sounds addicted beings“ 🙂 – Do you know nicer proof that it is indeed generally meaningful, to deal with things other than just the basic „material“ stuffs?
If today all in the „Prague, classics .. “ festival cooperating international music courses and other partners are so freshly „alive and kicking „, it is only thanks to all of them / you, who probably also cannot exist without music. (See a varied, colourful – or „soundsful“? 🙂 program offering solo, chamber and orchestral music in the festival schedule).
And do you know what else is very pleasing? In addition to the beautiful sounds, also beautiful paintings have started to come to our festival (we have got 2 exhibitions this year), and also a seriously breathtaking artistic movement (ballet). Which would really be a shame not to experience everything!
… Incidentally, with changes life begins somehow to „pick up on turns“, don’t you think too? Especially in recent months, weeks and days come from all the sides news really unusual, unimaginable before. Whether from culture, public life, economy, technology, or even from astronomy. Views and personal attitudes on those can be very different, of course they definitely are :). But the feeling of a certain „awakening“ from the experienced stereotypes, becoming aware of something suddenly somewhat „anachronic“, or the need to „do things differently and newly“, and „moving a little higher up“ – I personally register it more and more often around me. As a matter of fact, this is the main motif for this year’s additional title of the festival.
And, concerning the motto, seemingly not too closely connected to the so-called classical music, – what are the two most important principles of success on the musical stage? Of course!: to know „it“ (the piece), and NOT TO PANIC!!
But, let’s go even a little more general – is there anything better for a harmonious life than a light humorous unworldliness and the acceptance of a positive new ones with flexibility and optimism? Which was so beautifully and with unlimited fantasy described by the creators of the well-known „galactic-hitchhiker“ theme… Of course it is: love as the essence and meaning of all existence. – But these attributes definitely really belong to the unconditional pure love too, almost automatically!
So .. those, who agree .. – let’s enjoy life, let’s honestly enjoy!
And if it is just a tiny bit possible, let’s „DO NOT PANIC“! 🙂
